Avgas Auto's was established in 1994 by Hot Rodding enthusiast Wayne Crumblin. Wayne identified a void in the hotrod market place with the inability of quality hotrod parts to be supplied in Australia. Now some years later Authorized Distributors are located in Perth, Adelaide, Melbourne, Sydney, Queensland, Gold Coast as well as Canberra. Avgas attends most major Hot Rod runs, shows and swap meets throughout Australia, with unique transporter and trade stands.

In 2001 Avgas became quite aggressive within the area of manufacture of quality hot rod components, some of these parts are retailed under the "Australian Axle Company".

The Australian Axle Company currently manufactures all stainless steel front end components to suit 28-34 Ford applications including Front Shock Absorbers, Transverse Springs and Finned aluminum disc brake adapters. The Australian Axle Company is exporting to New Zealand and the United States. In Conjunction with The Australian Axle Company "Classique Metal Polishing" was established to cater for the detail polishing of all stainless steel and aluminum products in house.

Avgas have contracted to most major US brands including Air tique, American Stamping Co., Gennie Shifter Co., Bob Drake, Halibrand Engineering and Wheels Vintique to name a few.
